SUMMARY:UNILAG\, PAAF Hosts 8th Annual Africa Interdisciplinary Health Conference (AFIHC)\, Aug. 13 - 15
DESCRIPTION:The University of Lagos (UNILAG) in collaboration with Push Aid Africa\, Inc. (PAAF) will host the 8th Annual Africa Interdisciplinary Health Conference (AfIHC) from Wednesday\, August 13\, 2025 to Friday\, August 15\, 2025 at the Faculty of Social Sciences Lecture Theatre\, UNILAG. \n\n\n\nAfIHC 2025 will commence with a 2-day pre-conference workshop scheduled for Monday\, August 11 and Tuesday\, August 12\, 2025 at Faculty of Social Sciences Lecture Theatre\, UNILAG. The Conference\, with the theme: Advancing Sustainable Healthcare and Environmental Resilience in Africa: Integrating Health\, Ecology\, and Community Well-being\, is aimed at creating a platform for various healthcare providers and stakeholders in both clinical and academic/research settings to meet\, discuss research findings and promote evidence-based practice. \n\n\n\nAfIHC is an interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary health-focused international conference hosted annually in Africa. It is targeted at researchers\, students\, clinicians\, and policymakers across Africa and beyond. This year’s conference will also promote awareness of interdisciplinary approaches to the care and management of patients with chronic diseases. It will feature exhibitions\, keynote speeches and panel sessions\, among other things. Keynote Speakers include: \n\nProf. Mojisola Christiana Adeyeye (Director-General\, National Agency for Food and Administration Control (NAFDAC))\nProf. Ademola Ayodele Oremosu (Provost\, College of Medicine\, University of Lagos) and\nProf. Oladele Ogunseitan (Distinguished Professor of Population\, Health and Disease Prevention\, University of California and Presidential Chair\, University of California\, Irvine.)

SUMMARY:8th International Academic Conference on Taxation: Call for Participation
DESCRIPTION:The 8th International Academic Conference on Taxation\, organised by the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN)\, will hold from Wednesday\, August 13\, to Thursday\, August 14\, 2025\, at Lagos State University\, Ojo. \nThemed: Taxation in a Digitalized and Globalized Economy: Challenges\, Opportunities\, and Sustainable Solutions\, the conference will feature keynote addresses by distinguished experts\, scholarly paper presentations\, panel discussions\, a PhD colloquium\, and capacity-building workshops for students and early-career researchers. \nInterested members of staff\, especially those engaged in Research and Development\, the Legal Department\, or Strategy and Policy Implementation\, are encouraged to submit abstracts and full papers for presentation. \nSubmissions should be relevant to the conference theme and its associated sub-themes. Please note that: The deadline for submission of Abstracts is Wednesday\, July 30\, 2025\, while the deadline for Full Papers is Friday\, August 8\, 2025. \nConference Fee is ₦40\,000  \nParticipants will receive a certificate of attendance. In addition\, members of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) will earn 12 credit hours\, with an additional 2 credit units per paper presented (maximum of 2 papers).
