Dr. Olayide Folashade Obidi of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science has received the National Office of Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) Industry Technology Transfer Fellowship Award.
The Award was conferred on her by the National Office of Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) in collaboration with Industry, under the NOTAP-Industry Technology Transfer Fellowship (NITTF) Scheme.
NOTAP is a regulator of technology transfer from foreign countries into Nigeria. In a bid to resolve the inadequacies and disconnect between industries and the National Innovation System, NOTAP designed the NITTF Scheme to create indigenous critical technological competences of elite applied knowledge workers in Nigeria through special Ph.D. programmes tenable in Nigerian Universities.
Dr. Olayide Folashade Obidi was one of the ten beneficiaries of this Fellowship Award.
