Delegates of the University of Bayreuth (Universität Bayreuth) paid a visit to the University of Lagos (UNILAG), yesterday, Tuesday, February 12, 2019. The team visited to discuss collaborative opportunities with the Institute of Africa and Diaspora Studies, University of Lagos and the University at large.

The 3-man team received a warm welcome at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room,10th Floor, Senate House, where the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, accompanied by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Development Services, Prof. Folasade T. Ogunsola; Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics and Research, Prof. Oluwole B. Familoni; Director, Institute of Africa and Diaspora Studies (IADS) and the incumbent Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof. ‘Muyiwa A. Falaiye; Director, Research and Innovation Office, Prof. Wellington A. Oyibo; Deputy Director, IADS, Dr. Obi Iwuagwu; Deputy Director, Office of International Relations, Partnership and Prospects (IRPP), Dr. Ismail Ibrahim and other members of staff.

The group was treated to a tour of the scenic view of the University of Lagos at the Lagoon Front, Faculty of Arts, Arthur Mbanefor Digital Library, Scholar’s Hostel and Creative Arts Gallery.
