The Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), Lagos branch, domiciled in the University of Lagos cordially invites the members of staff and University community to the grand finale of its Essay competition titled: “Investment in Women and Girls in Science for Inclusive Green Growth: A Necessity for Nigeria”.

The competition was initiated to synergise the interest of girls in Science as a field of education. The competition commenced with over four hundred (400) written essay applications from different secondary schools under the Ministry of Education and was reviewed by seasoned lecturers versatile in the field under consideration. Thirty-two (32) qualified applications were drawn from the 400 applicants to semi-final stage that was conducted on March 19, 2020.
