Scholars and researchers in the humanities who are now deploying digital tools for research and innovation have been produced from this Institute. This was actualised through the grant that was awarded under the Volkswagen Foundation’s Scheme, “Knowledge for Tomorrow – Cooperative Research Projects in Sub-Saharan Africa“. The grant is valued at over €45,000 with the University of Cologne, Germany, as the fund administrator.

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, on behalf of the University community, congratulates the Director of CEDHUL, Prof. ‘Tunde Ope-Davies on acquiring this prestigious award for the second time in row.
