The University of Lagos wishes to inform all members of the University community that a Lagos Computerised Vehicle Inspection Service (LACVIS) centre is now located within the premises of the University.
The Vehicle Inspection centre is expected to give staff, students and visitors the opportunity to carry out their vehicle inspections in line with the new policy of the Lagos State Government which commenced in January 2022. This policy mandates all vehicles resident or plying Lagos State roads to go through mandatory inspection before Roadworthiness certificates are issued in favour of such vehicles.
The centre is located at the first turning after the amphitheatre, opposite the UNILAG Central Mosque.
Members of the University community and public are hereby enjoined to make good use of this opportunity to inspect their vehicles.
