FASULagos2024: UNILAG is Pulling All the Stops to Host the Best Event

FASULagos2024 - UNILAG is Pulling All the Stops to Host the Best Event

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable experience as we proudly host the 11th Federation of African University Sports (FASU) Games in collaboration with our sister institution, Lagos State University (LASU).

With an unwavering commitment to excellence, UNILAG is pulling all the stops to ensure that this year’s event sets a new standard in university sports across the continent.

As the host institution, we’ve transformed our campus into a world-class sports hub, upgrading facilities to meet international standards, and creating a vibrant atmosphere for the 17 different sports disciplines that will be contested. From athletics to basketball, football to swimming, and beyond, the stage is set for some of Africa’s most talented athletes to compete at their best.

But FASU 2024 is more than just competition—this is a celebration of African unity, youth empowerment, and resilience. UNILAG is ready to welcome over 1,500 athletes from 43 African nations, all with one goal: to showcase their skills, sportsmanship, and determination.

It’s FASU season, and we invite the world to join us in celebrating the spirit of African excellence. The energy is building, and UNILAG is set to host the best event in FASU history.

Game on!
