It has been over one year since the University of Lagos launched the Environmental Sustainability Challenge, setting out to Track, Collect, and Recycle 1.5 million PET bottles on campus. Remarkably, within approximately 14 months of its launch, this ambitious target has been achieved.
In celebration of this milestone, and in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of the UNILAG Green Hub, University of Lagos hereby invites all members of the university community and the interested public to UNILAG Sustainability RACE: Showcasing Our Efforts and Commitment to Do More.
The event will hold on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and details are as follows:
- Environmental Celebrity Walk and Campus Cleanup

- 2nd Recycling Bazaar
Venue: Indoor Hall, Sports Centre Time: 10:00a.m.
- Circular Entertainment Session
Venue: Indoor Hall, Sports Centre Time: 10:30 a.m.
