Unilag Research Group Invites Participation in Air Quality Awareness and Perception Survey

Members of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) community are cordially invited to participate in a survey on air quality awareness and perception being conducted by the Air Quality Monitoring Research Group (AQMRG) of the University.

The group, which is made up of members of academia from different disciplines in the university, is conducting this survey as part of activities to celebrate global Air Quality Awareness Week scheduled annually for the 2nd week in May. The theme for 2023 is “Working Together for Clean Air.”

Air Quality Awareness Week highlights resources that increase air quality awareness and encourage people to take action and incorporate air quality knowledge into their daily living.

Results of the survey will be useful for the AQMRG to select key areas of air quality research and awareness creation that will impact the university and society. It will also support a US Department of States funded project entitled, “Clean Air for Healthier Cities: Scaling up participatory and collaborative monitoring, modeling and evidence-informed advocacy solutions for improved air quality management in East and West Africa.”

The responses of distinguished members of the University of Lagos community to the short questions in the survey will be highly appreciated by the research group.
