ESDC, UNILAG Hosts ACU/PEBL-WA Carpe Diem Workshop for Academic Staff, April 17

The Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Centre (ESDC) of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria, is set to host a Train-the-Trainer workshop in partnership with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), UK and Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA), UK

The workshop, which is under the project Partnerships for Enhanced and Blended Learning West Africa (PEBL-WA), is entitled, “Blended Learning Carpe Diem Workshop” and scheduled thus:

Date: Monday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 18, 2023
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily
Venue: Jelili Omotola Multipurpose Hall A, University of Lagos, Nigeria

PEBL-WA is the project for Enhanced and Blended Learning in West Africa, which is led by the ACU and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, to expose academics to the 21st century blended teaching and learning delivery. PEBL West Africa supports academics and students across 12 universities in Ghana and Nigeria to build sustainable capacity for blended learning through expert-led training, collaboration, and the development of quality-assured, credit-bearing blended courses.

One Hundred and Twenty-Three (123) Academic Staff (Assistant Lecturer to Senior Lecturer Grades) across all faculties in the University will participate in the workshop. This will enhance their capacity to develop blended learning curriculum and thus enhance their classroom engagement and performance.
