It is worthy of note that the University of Lagos produced the highest number of first class honours along with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It is also worth mentioning that at the 2017 Bar Examinations held last year, the University of Lagos produced the highest number of first class honours. This greatly shows the University’s commitment to offering quality legal education in the country and to retain its position among the best in the world.

The University Management is therefore proud of these students and uses this opportunity to appreciate the entire staff of the Faculty of Law, particularly the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Ayo Atsenuwa, for working tirelessly to ensure the students were well-grounded and prepared for life after campus.

As a University, we would remain committed to supporting our students and providing them with the enabling environment to compete favourably with their counterparts locally and globally.

Once again the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, on behalf of the Senate, Management, members of staff and students of the University of Lagos, congratulates and wishes them the best in their future endeavours.
